Surprised, Daniel chuckled at the suddenly so excited Grace in front of him, assuming that she would've declined his offer. (Thanks for giving me the suggestion x3) He tilted his head, knowing that the town wasn't that big, so therefore wouldn't be a lot of places to go. Then an idea popped into his head. They didn't need to hang in town, right? "Hey, how about that forest outside the town? I haven't been their before, but I heard it was lots of fun."

Grace gave a chuckle, and nodded. "That sounds good!" she said. It was almost like he had read her mind. Looking around for a moment, she turned back to him. "Alright! Are you ready to go?" she asked. She was ready to go, and just wanted to make sure he was too before going into the forest.

His heart paste quickened, an enthusiastic grin on his face. Daniel oddly felt nervous, even though he had known Grace since they were little kids. His eyes flickering around his body, checking if he needed anything, then nodded decidedly. "Yup, how about you?" Daniel returned back.

Grace gave a large grin, and a small hop. "I'm ready!" she said. Looking over herself once, she gave a nod. "Yep!" While she didn't really have any items on her, she doubted they'd need anything. The woods were generally pretty quiet, and she doubted that there would be any threats. "Let's go!"

Daniel chuckled at her enthusiasm, seeing that he wasn't the only one who was pumped for this. "After you, m'lady." Daniel offered cheesily, seeing that she might've been more excited than he was, only half joking. He tilted his head, studying her expression. Geez, she does look adorable like this. He thought, before actually processing it. Daniel froze and turned pale, but then relaxed, realizing he hadn't actually said it out loud.

Grace gave a mock accent in return. "Thank you sir." she said jokingly, flashing him a smile. She had found his remark quite cute, but didn't say anything out loud. It probably would have made it awkward, and the thought had flashed in her mind before she could quite grasp it. Seeing him freeze up and relax, Grace rose her brow. "You okay?" she asked, "Or does the forest scare you?" she added, a joking tone in her voice.

He rolled his eyes at her terrible accent. Waiting for her to go first- like he had said- he noticed Grace raising an unsteady brow. He didn't know what she was up to, until she had asked him if he was okay, now knowing what this was about. Atleast she didn't really know what I was thinking.. He tried to reassure himself in his head. Putting on an obviously fake smile, he opened his mouth to try to make an excuse, but thankfully Grace had already spoke up. His fake smile turning into a reassured one, replying with a simple, "Of course not!"

Grace gave a small chuckle, rolling her eyes as she turned towards the forest. "Whatever you say!" she said starting towards the forest. "Just don't go running home to your mommy." she said jokingly as she looked around the heavily forested area. It was quite the beautiful sight in the afternoon, with the sun breaking through the trees and making small, dappled patterns on the forest floor.

(WOWIE, I'm such an abandoner I'm so sorry XD)
He snickered rolling his eyes. "Uh-huh. Like you ever see me do that!" Daniel protested. He slowed down, to look around at the beautiful view. He had never been in this part of the city, and was quite nervous and excited at the same time. He had always imagined large forests to be dark and scary, but this one looked quite.. Cheerful, and happy. (No muse at all..)

Grace gave him a look, raising her brow. "When you were young." She said with a sly smile. In all honesty, she hadn't actually seen him do such a thing. But, if he had done such a thing, she assumed he would have done so as a child. Looking around, she took in the sights of the forest. She loved the security of the trees and leaves above. She couldn't help but skip a bit as they went deeper, enjoying the sights of it all. (x3)
